The system captures solar energy during the sunlight hours and stores it as electrical energy.
At nightfall, the control system uses the stored energy to automatically turn the LED module on and light up the area in question.
At dawn, the LED module automatically switches off, thereby starting a new cycle.

The CRM Smart Eleven Solar Streetlight is comprised of a support column and a luminary all manufactured of stainless steel. The column is specially designed to support the luminary, which is both larger and heavier than a conventional luminary. Once anchored to the ground, the robust column serves as an effective barrier against vandalism for the system, which doesn´t require an inspection hatch because it doesn´t house any copper wires in its interior.
The CRM Smart Eleven luminary integrates all of the electric components needed for the system to operate, such as:
LED Module that makes use of the most advanced LED technology in the world, obtaining record-breaking performance with top quality light.
Optical System that enables the LED lights to be focused on the points of interest
Monocrystalline Photovoltaic Solar Panel, in charge of capturing solar radiation and turning it into clean, electric energy.
Electric Accumulator Batteries that store the energy captured by the Solar Panel during the daylight hours, so it can be used at night.
Battery Charge Regulator, which integrates an advanced control system specially designed to maintain the battery status for many years.
Intelligent Electronic Control System, in charge of making the Solar Streetlight behave as an autonomous set that adapts to the different weather conditions and different seasons of the year. This provides the system with autonomy for 20 cloudy days.
